IU’s Arabic Flagship Program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to attain professional level language proficiency and deep knowledge about the many cultures of the Middle East through intensive language study, extra-curricular activities, and overseas study, including one year in Morocco. The Arabic Flagship Program is part of the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies , which offers a vibrant learning community.

Who is eligible?

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrate the commitment and ability to thrive in an intensive Arabic learning environment.
  • Be enrolled or intend to enroll in first-year Arabic or higher
