Indiana University’s Arabic Flagship is more than a language program. When you join our program, you enter into a community of like-minded individuals with whom you can grow and learn. Outside of class you’ll meet with classmates, conversation partners, and mentors to improve fluency and grammar.
Extracurricular activities are designed to improve your language skills and teach you about the many different cultures of the Arabic-speaking world. Student-led shows and performances emphasize popular culture, history, and hobbies. The intensive Arabic Flagship learning environment cultivates intercultural competency necessary for thriving in study abroad opportunities like the program's overseas Capstone year.
