The annual Pedagogy Symposium brings together a wider community at Indiana University and highlights the university’s commitment to language teaching and education. Each year the symposium includes an insightful lecture regarding the broader elements of pedagogy and language instruction with lessons learned and insight provided by a pedagogy expert, followed by a hands-on workshop training primarily for Arabic language educators. Both students and practitioners are encouraged and welcome to attend. Recent presenters have included Dr. Mahmoud Abdalla from the prestigious Middlebury Institute for International Studies.
