Recent Graduates

Mariama Bah

Mariama Bah is a senior from Indianapolis, Indiana. She is majoring in International Studies with minors in Arabic, Global Health Promotion, and a certificate in Islamic Religious Studies. She is also taking nursing courses and hopes to go to nursing school after the Capstone year. She wants to use both of her degrees to do humanitarian work either domestically or abroad. In her free time, she likes to go to the movies, go shopping, or just hang out with friends.

Zahra Bhoy

Zahra Bhoy is a senior from Munster, Indiana, majoring in International Studies and Arabic with a Chemistry minor. She's not exactly sure what she wants to do after her Capstone year, but she is considering either medical or graduate school. She spends most of her time studying, but when she has free time, she is usually spending time with friends and watching Netflix.

Richard Solomon

Richard Solomon is a Class of 2018 Herman B Wells Scholar from Marietta, Georgia, with majors in International Studies, Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, as well as a Political Science and Philosophy interdepartmental major. On campus, he is involved with Model UN and the student Catholic community; he has also worked for IU’s Office of International Development and volunteers for the Pages to Prisoners project. His past research experience includes foreign investment law, nuclear proliferation, and Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
